Tree-lined streets and a long build-out
Focus Property Group developed Providence on about 1,200 acres in northwest Las Vegas starting around 2006, and more than 5,600 single-family homes stand there today. The plan has a traditional, New England feel, with tree-lined streets and three main parks: the linear Promenade, Huckleberry Park and the 15-acre Knickerbocker Park. For a handyman in Providence, that means a range of ages: the oldest houses are about 20 years old, while the final neighborhood of townhomes broke ground in July 2020.
Providence sits inside the City of Las Vegas, and the city's La Madre Foothills plan lists it among the existing neighborhoods along the 215 Beltway. Knickerbocker Park sits on one of the highest points in the community, with a view across the valley.
