Queensridge is a guard-gated community of custom homes in west Las Vegas, reached through two guarded entrances. As a handyman in Queensridge, PrimeFix handles the repairs and upgrades these custom houses need, and we take calls around the clock.

The 250-acre former Badlands golf course near Alta Drive and Rampart Boulevard sits inside Queensridge. A developer bought it in 2015, the course later closed, and the fight over what to build went through the City Council and the courts for years. The council has since approved a Lennar map for homes and open space on the site.
For homeowners on the old fairways, that means dust, changing views and, eventually, construction next door. Exterior painting is worth timing around the work nearby, while interior projects such as a bathroom remodel or new flooring can go ahead now. Dust also works into window tracks and door sweeps, so sliding doors that drag and worn weatherstripping are worth fixing.
Custom houses often bring tall entries, wide rooms and several bathrooms, each with finishes chosen by the first owner. That shapes the work: lighting installation and fan swaps at height, TV mounting on stone or plaster, tile installation where a match is hard to find, and interior painting on walls that run two stories.
Bathrooms are the other focus. A primary bath with a jetted tub nobody uses is a good candidate for a bathroom remodel or a larger shower. Smaller fixes include re-caulking a stone shower or replacing a valve cartridge worn by hard water. If you want grab bars or a bench added, plan them before new tile goes up so the wall can be blocked.

Expect it. Queensridge homes pay into their own master association as well as Peccole Ranch's, and changes visible from outside, like paint colors and entry doors, typically go through review. Once approval is in hand, we can schedule exterior painting.
Yes, once we confirm the box and support are rated for the fixture's weight. We bring ladders or staging tall enough for the height and plan the wiring before the old fixture comes down. Very heavy fixtures may need added blocking in the ceiling.
