A guard-gated golf community from the 1980s
Los Prados was developed in the 1980s in the northwest part of the valley, around an 18-hole golf course of just under 6,000 yards. It has 1,358 homes in 21 villages, and four of those villages are age-restricted. For a handyman in Los Prados, that means townhomes and one- and two-story houses, many of them close to 40 years old.
The community is guard-gated, with the main entrance on Lone Mountain Road and a back gate on Ann Road. The gates mean every delivery and crew visit needs to be cleared ahead of time. The clubhouse has two outdoor pools, two tennis courts, a library and rooms for crafts and gatherings.
